My friend Maggie used to write the "man's ambition" line and attribute it to Mark Twain. When I looked it up online to confirm it, the quote wasn't exact and was attributed to various sources. So I'm going to attribute it to my friend, Maggie H.
I still see some high-quality stuff, especially in the stalls at any Barnes & Noble, but it's in danger of becoming a lost art. I think I'll start carrying a Sharpie around with me again.
