I have one of these. I can never turn him away, either. He sits on the floor, looks up at me imploringly, and taps my arm with his paw. Eventually he jumps up, and any hope I had of getting work done is over.
Thankfully my dog can't get up onto my lap, oh wait, what am I saying? Of course he can get onto my lap, all he has to do is sit down. No jumping for that boy! But when he decides that I don't need to be on the computer, well, there's no arguing with him, he is bigger than I am after all!

Ooohh, he is just begging for a good ear scratch. I have a grey one also with faint stripes under it all. Mine is spoiled rotten.

Her eyes aren't exactly glowing, NGIP but it's hard to take a photo without cats' eyes giving that effect.
