How sad is it that I want one of these? I signed up on an email list to be notified of the product launch and have just been informed that I can be one of the first 1,000 solipsistic losers to own this bad boy.

I looked up the movies Yoostar has to choose from so far: not too many, and the sample performances by civilians are pretty lame. But I figure I could spice things up by playing George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life wearing a Hitler mustache or Brando's Godfather in drag.
Then it's not awkward, pasty-faced me, but a character playing a character, see? That would add a layer of irony, a condom for my self-consciousness. I know, it's a flimsy rationalization...but I really want to be Spartacus, dammit!

This is pretty neat. I would be interested in trying it out to see how real it looks. Get into a few James bond moves, a few Simpsons episodes haha I could have a blast with his.
@unfinished: I'm always looking for the crazy angles. The spouse wants to do it Kirk's way, too.
@bbrian017: The sample videos on yoostar.com are pretty lame, but I think it depends on things like making sure you're in the right spot, looking in the right direction, dressed appropriately (or purposely inappropriately) for the scene. I think it has potential.
This has potential to be very funny! I'd love to see one of your finished products after you've done one. =]

I want to reprise Terry Malloy's "I coulda been a contender..." scene from On the Waterfront. But at a level of totally over-the-top scenery chewing that would make Ricardo Montalban, William Shatner, or Jack Palance blush.
I thought Brando WAS doing that scene totally over-the-top. Maybe he had a yoostar too! that Strasberg gave him. Everyone has to start somewhere. Can't wait to see the video!
